Ukraine has significantly expanded the list of domestically produced agricultural machinery and equipment eligible for the 25% state reimbursement program. The updated register now includes more than 17,800 machinery items manufactured by 157 Ukrainian companies, making it the largest expansion since the program was launched. The update provides farmers with broader opportunities to modernize their machinery fleets and improve production efficiency.
The reimbursement program covers a wide range of agricultural equipment, including tractors, seeders, sprayers, tillage machinery, grain-handling equipment, trailers, storage systems, and other machinery produced in Ukraine. Farmers receive compensation after purchasing eligible equipment through authorized banks, reducing the financial burden of investing in modern technology.
The expansion is expected to benefit both agricultural producers and domestic machinery manufacturers. A larger number of participating companies reflects the continued development of Ukraine's agricultural engineering sector and increases the range of equipment available to farms across the country.
Industry experts note that the reimbursement program remains one of the government's key investment support instruments for agriculture. At a time of high equipment costs and ongoing economic challenges, the initiative enables farms to renew their machinery more quickly, improve operational efficiency, and adopt modern production technologies.
