Many producers still focus primarily on seed price while overlooking regional soil characteristics, climate conditions, and the genetic features of specific hybrids or varieties. As a result, actual productivity may fall significantly below expected levels even during favorable growing seasons.
Another major challenge is the spread of counterfeit seeds on the market. According to industry associations, agricultural producers periodically encounter fake products that fail to meet declared quality standards and lack proper certification. Such cases not only create financial losses for farmers but also complicate production planning and export agreements.
Experts advise farmers to pay greater attention to seed certification, field trial results, and consultations with agronomic specialists. Under current market conditions, choosing the right variety is becoming a strategic factor for business stability, especially in regions facing increased climate risks and water shortages.
